A Glimpse into Stapleton's past

Found this on Sands St., and with some research, I discovered that Redspot was a club/music venue, located around the corner from this at 533 Bay St., during the 1980's and 90's. This must've been their backyard area. The Redspot closed in the early 90's. This was before my time, but from my research, this looked like such a happening place. Too bad I missed it, and if only we can have more places like this again pop up on Staten Island, I'd be down! We always have memories. Check out this Facebook page dedicated to the Redspot  here.
