Mary Davies Drive

Mary Davies was on her way from London, on the Titanic, to visit her sister, who resided in Tottenville. Davies emerged as one of only 700 who survived the tragedy. Davies, herself, later resided on Staten Island when she married and later had a family. Mary Davies passed away in 1987. This stretch of Tennyson Dr. was christened for her in 2003. Read more on Mary Davies here.
