Barlow Ave. between Miles Ave. and Greaves Ave.
Known as the "Gentle Giant" by many, but Timothy McSweeney was known as husband, father, brother, fireman (with Ladder Co. 3), and hero. A big man (6' 3"), with an even bigger heart, rushed to the WTC, with his fellow firemen, but perished on that tragic day. That is why this stretch of Barlow Ave. is his own, and rightfully deserved. RIP my fallen brother, because on the tenth anniversary of that terrible day that you, and thousands of others, have died, you will never be forgotten. Thank you, for all you have done for your department, your family, and your country. Read more about Timothy McSweeney here.
