Ridgewood Ave. between Barlow Ave. and Leverett Ave.

As a member of Brooklyn's Rescue 2, Daniel Libretti and seven others rushed to Tower 1 of the WTC to help fellow firefighters. Mr. Libretti remains a true American hero, and this stretch of Ridgewood Ave. has been rightfully renamed for him. Like most of our heroes, Mr. Libretti was more than just a firefighter, but also, a chef, and a private contractor. Mr. Libretti resided in Eltingville for 16 years before his death, and Ridgewood Ave. between Barlow and Leverett is now his own. RIP, Brother. To read more on Daniel F. Libretti, click here.
